“El Salvador”

Behind the curtains of time,
among the mountains clothed with greens,
as if they were the caress of the emeralds in spring,
the sun comes out arrogantly as weaving its rays of the day,
while a flock of doves cross the skies,
as a heavenly mantle in the mornings.

It’s volcanoes are like concrete towers that look after the air,
ready to erupt,
like cannons in battle, which are like a show
of lights of flares on the airs,
where they float and fall magically,
in the heart of the thoughts of the earth.

But the lake of Coatepeque,
it moves with its sleeping waves,
where many souls caress their warm waters,
raising a smile of joy to the heavens,
because around it is full of much human heat,
and beautiful flowers and women that are outlined when walking,
as if they were pretty butterflies in their gardens.

The parks are like tradition to the Nature,
where the trees as leafy guardians,
have their branches suspended in time,
to give shade, while a hummingbird dances and sings,
to earn a visitor’s smile,
to be able to fly to the flowers that adorn the peace
of the murmur of the passing breeze,

The beautiful nights are like a kiss of a star,
under lights like diamonds that shine,
furrow the skies and the bells of smiles,
are present under the moon with their rays of cotton,
that caress and pull out sighs of love,
like a white rose in love,
of a shooting star passing by in the blink of an eye,
on the beautiful horizon covered in dark blue

The women and men of the countryside,
tireless workers, earning the livelihood of their family,
the ray of the sun that mistreats them and makes them be like steel
because the water their work with dignity,
as fierce fate is going,
and they are proud of their country, which has worked for a long time.
